Downhill has 10 bedrooms, split over three levels in the lodge. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. All linen is supplied including sheets, doonas, towels and bath mats.  Each room is fully serviced prior to arrival.

Three of Downhill’s 10 ensuite bedrooms are slightly larger, accommodating up to 6 people. These rooms are allocated to larger groups where possible.

All of Downhill’s bathrooms were completely renovated and modernised in 2018.  Each en suite has a shower, vanity unit with hair dryer. Guest soap and hand wash are supplied. 

Downhill has a large lounge room on the middle level. There is a central open fireplace with a high ceiling, lots of comfortable couches and other seating. The space looks out over the village and the hills beyond. 

Members and guests congregate around the fireplace during the day and especially at night, sharing stories, drinks and nibbles before dinner. There is a wonderful club atmosphere.

Free wi-fi is available throughout the lodge for guests and members. Downhill also has 2 TV areas and a billiard room with a small library of books and a games table.

Downhill prides instead on having a relaxed and enjoyable club environment, which provides a getaway for many of us from the stressors of work and home life. As such, members and guests are asked not to take mobile phone calls in the lounge area, and to keep their devices on silent. 

If members or guests need to do work during their stay, this is discouraged in the lounge or dining areas. Each bedroom has a good sized writing desk for this purpose and there is a table and chair in the billiard room

Downhill’s sunny dining area sits between the lounge and the kitchen on the middle level, and can seat up to 30 people on five tables, each with the capacity to seat 6 people. Adjacent to the tables that are at the back of the fireplace is a bar area containing wine, beer and champagne glasses, two bar fridges where you may label and store alcohol, and games cupboards.

Downhill has a fully equipped commercial grade kitchen with three electric ovens, gas stove tops, two microwaves and a large Hobart dishwasher. You will not need to bring any cooking equipment as the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need including and extensive range of high quaility cooking and baking equipment, condiments & dry baking staples. If you are not skiing, you may wish to use one of the four pairs of snowshoes located in the Laundry! This is a great way to explore the village and to get some exercise.   Please ask the Manager if you would like to use them.
